Supporting Emotional Wellbeing through Horses

Horses are becoming increasingly recognised for their beneficial role in interventions designed to improve mental health and well being, with studies supporting the therapeutic value of the human-animal interaction.  Equine Assisted Therapy can help with depression, anxiety, ADHA, conduct disorders, trauma, spectrum and other metal health difficulties.  The benefits of horse riding as a form of physical activity are also well documented and riding can help build overall strength, including core strength, balance, stability and help improve coordination.

Our program is designed to support emotional wellbeing through equine care.  Riders will develop resilience, self control, physical strength and improved self esteem.

Our program is developed in collaboration with the client to ensure we meet the needs of the group and individuals.  Lessons are undertaken in a safe and relaxed environment.
